CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES! Our CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES need you! Our Children’s Ministry is in need of leaders to help with the various programs we offer. This is a great way to get to know the children and help them and (you!) GO DEEPER in faith! If you are interested in helping a little or a lot to help us keep our growing ministry strong please let Kim know (748-2612).
Click the button Christian Education for information on children's Sunday School. The following groups for children are available at our church. Kids Who Care (K-2nd) Kids Who Care is a youth group designed for children who are in kindergarten, first or second grade. It is a service/ mission group that has fun while helping others. We learn that it takes just one person to make a difference and together we can help make differences in the lives of others. For October, we are encouraging all of our families to walk in the Crop Walk on October 2nd to combat hunger. Have friends and family sponsor you and see how many miles you can do! Also we are planning a non- scary Hayride to the pumpkin patch for the week of October 10th with the exact date and time to follow. Families are invited. Traditionally we pick a pumpkin and then donate the pumpkins to the Franklin Food Pantry for the needy. Check your email and upcoming bulletins. We can't wait to get to know your children better and to help them learn to serve others. If anyone would like to be added to the email list please email Kim at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . God Squad- (3rd-4th grade) God Squad is a youth group that picks up where Kids Who Care leaves off. We do service/ mission activities, fellowship fun to strengthen our bond, and more. October 2nd - We are planning on walking together at the Crop Walk on Sunday, October 2nd . The walk is at 2:00 at North Park. Families can join us or drop off at 1:45 at the 1st pavilion in North Park (Kim will be waiting there.) We are asking that the children do chores or extra work to earn some money to donate to the Crop Walk, which helps raise awareness and money for global hunger and poverty. Children may also ask friends and family for donations. After our walk we will do some food trivia and have snacks! October 23rd- We will be heading over to The Incredible Maze of Warren County for fun and fellowship as we get lost in all of the twists and turns of the maize. It will remind us that life is a little like that, sometimes we get lost and twisted around and we need to remember that God is in charge and we need to trust Him and follow Him. The maize has a “religious passport” for us to use as well! Time TBA For more information please contact Kim at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Mission 56- (5th & 6th grade) It’s all about friends at this age! In October we will be joining the God Squad for the Crop Walk activities (please see above) and then we have a busy week-end… Saturday, October 15- we will be joining the Jammers for a Haunted Hayride at Bull Run Farms. We will meet at the church @ 6:30 for a hot dog roast, some s’mores and a lesson on how we need to trust in God and not be afraid. Afterwards, we will head over to the hayride. We may need parents to help transport. Please let us know if you plan on joining us. Sunday, October 16- Mission 56ers are invited to join us for Sunday School and then stay for worship as a group. After worship we will meet for lunch and a “Sunday Special” which involves service and mission. Normally we will meet on the 1st Saturday evening of the month for worship, fun, fellowship and a message and on the 3rd Sunday morning of the month for worship, lunch and mission/service and message. Both of these times are in addition to our regular Sunday School time at 9:15 each Sunday. For more information please contact Kim at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
