For instance, children might want to select cookies or cupcakes as Valentine's gifts for Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa. Once the box is finished, they can have it wrapped with red or pink or white yarn and can then select stickers to decorate the box. Mom and Dad might want to remember a neighbor or other friend, or get a box for a favorite babysitter. Of course, there's always the girl with a special boy and the boy with a special girl. And finally, you might just want a few to enjoy during the cold winter nights still to come. The Cookie and Cupcake Walk is a fundraiser that will support Interfaith Hospitality's Christmas in July party. At this party, homeless children are provided with everything they need to make a successful start at school in the fall, from new underwear, socks, shoes and outer clothes to backpacks and school supplies. Please plan to come and have fun. Also, there is a sign up sheet if you are one of those women who can help prepare some of those hundreds of cookies and cupcakes. We'd like them to be homemade and, while the ever popular chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies are very welcome, some with a Valentine theme would be much appreciated.

Cookie and Cupcake Walk
Women In Faith are sponsoring a Cookie and Cupcake Walk on the 11th and 12th of February to celebrate Valentine's Day. The women of the church will bring in hundreds and hundreds of cookies and cupcakes, which will be set out on several long tables after each service: the service at 5:30 pm on Saturday and the services at 9:15 and 10:35 am on Sunday. During the walk, you will take a box, put on a glove and select whatever cookies and cupcakes you want as you walk along the tables, mixing and matching to your (Valentine's) heart's content.
