The church is full of opportunities for spiritual growth and service through adult ministry.
One way is to participate in several of our church's on-going studies, groups that meet for several weeks in a row to study the bible and various doctrines of the Christian faith. Groups meeting now are listed on the Christian Education page.
You can also help out with Church Jobs and Committees
There is a constant need for people to serve on the various committees that run our church. Many jobs are available - you can help with Interfaith, work on landscaping, supervise meals during the Lenten Wednesday night dinners, be a trustee, collect and count the weekly offering, support the missions of our men's and women's groups, be an usher, make cookies for Sunday services, be a Sunday School teacher - the list is long and varied and the rewards are great. If you are interested in what committees the church has and who is on them, please click here.
Another option is helping with our Caring Ministries The church has two specific ministries that offer care to members of our congregation in times of need.
Loaves and Fishes: This ministry provides meals for families with new babies, those who have been sick or who are going through a difficult time. If you would like to serve in this ministry, please contact Susan Raihala.
Stephen Ministry: Stephen Ministers care for people facing tough times. Our first class of Stephen Ministers began serving our congregation and community in April 2009. Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide one-to-one, confidential Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministers meet faithfully with care receivers for about an hour each week for as long as there is need. If you or someone you know could benefit from the care of a Stephen Minister, please contact one of our Stephen Leaders, Karen DeRosa or Zandra Woody.
