Music Ministries

First United Methodist Church is blessed to have a very active music ministry, with three choirs for those seeking regular participation, as well as various opportunities to share your musical abilites on a one-time or occational basis. Each group consists of individuals with a true love and talent for music. They find much joy and fellowship in sharing their spiritual gift of music with First United Methodist Church and we are a richer church community because of their talents! Heavenly Host Choir

This traditional choir provides music for our Sunday morning 9:00 and 10:30 services. The choir is accompanied by both organ and piano played by Penny Grimes and Vicki Kuhn, respectively. The choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m and is led by Carolyn Mabee.

Joyful Noise Bell Choir

The Bell Choir provides music for Sunday morning services six to nine times per year, including the Christmas Cantata each December.

Springs Praise Band

The Springs praise band provides a mix of favorite hymns and more contemporary music appropriate for the casual Saturday service each week at 5:30 p.m. The group has members who offer both their vocal and instrumental talents.
